This stunning, fine and impressive antique emerald and diamond ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.

The ring is ornamented with a stunning feature claw set 0.80ct octagonal cut Colombian emerald.

The emerald is flanked on either side by stunning claw set Old European round cut diamonds.

The anterior surface of the ring continues via very subtly tapering shoulders to form a plain solid ring shank.

The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the maker's mark (T.T.J&Son - TT Jones & Son*) and the 18ct gold fineness mark (18).

This stunning unisex emerald and diamond ring is supplied with two IDGL diamond grading report certificates, in addition to an emerald report card and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London**.

Such examples with antique D colour diamonds are rare and indicates the very high quality of the piece.

NOTE: * TT Jones & Son is a Sydney-based jewellery and silversmith business established in the mid-1850s by Timothy Tillotson Jones. Whilst originally known as watch and clockmakers, they became recognised for working with Masonic jewels and regalia, in addition to gold and silversmith work.

** This documentation accredits the emerald originating in Colombia and certifies that the gemstone shows moderate amount of oil in fissures.

Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone in this antique emerald ring.

Archival Detail
Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Turn-of-the-century dress rings often feature distinct gemstone combinations set within smooth, substantial gold bands, reflecting the transition between late Victorian craftsmanship and Edwardian design.

These pieces typically feature solid 18ct yellow gold mounts set with natural emeralds and antique cut diamonds, often secured using flush carved or star-setting techniques.

Authentic pieces from around 1900 display historical makers marks or gold purity hallmarks stamped inside the band, alongside hand-cut gemstones and age-consistent wear.

A wide antique dress ring functions as a single accent piece when worn on the index or ring finger, pairing smoothly with modern tailoring or minimalist wardrobe choices.

Emeralds require gentle care due to their natural inclusions, so clean the ring using lukewarm water, mild soap, and a soft brush rather than steam or ultrasonic cleaners.
