Victorian Silver Fox Planished Silver Table Box

An outstanding quality Victorian solid planished silver table box with decorative solid silver fox to the lid, hallmarked London 1894. The hinged lid with planished finish in an unusual sunburst form. Beautifully detailed and hallmarked solid silver standing fox, which is set as a handle to the centre of the lid. The sides of the lid with matching polished planished finish with the lid opening to reveal a clean mahogany lined interior. The box base with silver corners and a black leather pad to the base in order to protect the surface it is placed on. Bears the retailers name Barret & Son`s Piccadilly, London. Clear hallmarks to all sections along with the makers mark for Richard Hodd & Sons. The finest quality presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Through our trusted international shippers we will source the most competitive quote for delivery to your door. All items are wrapped and packed by the specialist shippers.
