Description

A large pair of French mid 19th century Faience Jars and Covers decorated with panels of classical romantic scenes of nymphs playing in the waves. These are surrounded by bunches of foliage and flowers. They have wonderful lion's head handles to the sides.There is a small chip to the rim and lid as can be seen in the photograph but they are otherwise in good condition.
