Lincoln Restorations has dated these Edwardian Carved Walnut Dining Chairs to the Edwardian era.
A rare set of Victorian Walnut chairs.
The chairs feature a spectacularly carved curved top rail depicting a foliage background, complete with double column style fretwork and carved centre back. The lower rail is also curved and has a nice dental scratch moulding to central rosetta.

The chairs have fully upholstered traditionally padded 'stuffed over' seats which finish to scratch carved rails standing on its typical Edwardian turned forelegs.
These chairs feature their lovely original French polished finish with a lightly faded colour and lots of patina which have been sympathetically restored and carefully waxed in our workshop. These chairs have obviously been looked after and cared for as it is rare to find a set of 4 Antique chairs in such good condition, the majority of sets get broken up or chairs lost or broken. These chairs are of a very high quality, are made from all solid Walnut with no loose joints or breaks.

The inner padding has been rebuilt as part of their restoration and the chairs have a brand new material covering which is an ivory chenille with matching decorative braid. These sturdy chairs are very comfortable seating and are ready for daily use as dining chairs.

Please note: We can reupholster these chairs in a material of your choice if this material is not to your taste (for obvious added costs) if you enquire.
