Superb Yew Wood High Back Windsor Chair

A superb late George III period yew wood high back Windsor chair with wonderful colour and original patina c.1820. Bent yew wood railed high back with fretted yew decorative splat to the centre. Matching bent wood arm supports with cut out and bobbin turned to the underside of the arm ends, which is typical of chairs from Lincolnshire. Moulded figured elm seat, turned legs below with bun feet to the ends and supporting crinoline stretcher to the centre.
