High quality Albany Pattern English Victorian antique solid sterling silver asparagus, vegetable, or sandwich serving tongs. They are hallmarked for London 1899 with the maker being Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co (William Gibson & John Lawrence Langman). They are highly sprung and in good working order. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They measure approx. 9 inches (23cm) long by 1 inch (2.6cm) wide and they weigh an impressive 136 grams.
