Victorian Bulk Head Marine Barometer

A late Victorian aneroid bulk head marine barometer on the original oak plinth, fully serviced and working c.1890. Deep polished brass case with mounting flange to the rear and cast bezel to the front. Aneroid movement sat behind a porcelain dial with weather predictions sat around the outer edge, glazed view window sat over the top with central reading marker. Mounted on the original turned oak plinth with brass hanging fitting to the top. The name of the yacht and owner that the barometer came from inscribed to the rear. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine, fully serviced and working. Keep up to date via Instagram - sturmansantiques. Measures 11" diameter overall with a 6.5" diameter dial x 4" deep.
