Bushells Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The rim is marked Bvlgari (925) for sterling Silver.

The top of the Lid is very stylish with thin fluting and the centre of the lid is inset with an antique Latin coin from the Roman Empire depicting Constantivs II Caes (323-335 a.c.), and the box has a silver plaque inside stating the authenticity of the coin.

The interior of the box has a high quality thick mahogany wood lining, that makes this Bulgari sterling silver Rectangular Cigar or Cigarette Box stand out from the rest.
We have had the silver professionally polished and the wood has been has been polished so it is now in perfect order and ready for immediate use.
The size is perfect for Cigars:7 1/8” x 4 3/8” x 1 ½” (18cm wide x 11cm deep x 4cm high)
