I will always buy original Spanish olive pots when I can as I honestly believe no other pot can add the same level of quality rustic charm as these. They are hand thrown terracotta, very thick and show signs handsomely of years of use. These pots were usually owned by one family for their entire life and re used constantly. This is why you will see occasionally olive pots that have been stapled as if these broke they were expensive to replace and were often repaired which is a very romantic look back at country life.

This example is one of the repaired examples and looks all the better for it. Stapled on one side with original iron brackets. Neat design with plenty of character.
