The lid opens to reveal a fitted interior containing two original cut glass mixing bowls. Flanking the central compartment are two lead-lined tea canisters, designed for loose leaf storage.

The teapoy is raised on a turned and reeded central column, supported by four splayed legs terminating in original brass castors. The piece retains a rich, untouched patina and showcases the refined craftsmanship characteristic of the Regency era.
