Lee Hawkins Antiques & Interiors has dated this piece to the 19th Century.

The upper section features doors with original astragal glazing in a desirable diamond lattice pattern. The interior provides generous storage for books, china, or display items, with three adjustable shelves. The cornice with a decorated crisply carved dentil moulding and a stepped pediment for added architectural presence.

The Lower Section has a deep central drawer that pulls out and folds down to reveal a fully fitted writing interior, complete with a bank of drawers. Beneath having two lower cupboard doors, open to reveal a shelved interior.

This piece is in excellent antique condition, with rich colour and patination developed over centuries. The drawers run smoothly, locks function, and the glass is original
