Original Bronze by José Cardona

An original early 20th century bronze 'Garçonnet au porte-diner' by Spanish sculptor José Cardona (1878 - 1923). Classic example of the artists work, depicting a young boy with a lunch carrier, excellent detail throughout. Signed to the base J Cardona, superb original rich colour and patination throughout, presented in superb condition. Keep up to date via Instagram - sturmansantiques. Measures 4.5" wide x 3.25" deep at the base x 11" high.

About the Artist - José Cardona was a sculptor from Catalan who studied at the school of Fine Arts of La Lonja, Barcelona. He is noted as working in Barcelona, Paris, Argentina and Madrid throughout his career. As well as creating sculptures, he painted portraits of people.

Smaller items are shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes insurance for the item whilst in transit and a guaranteed tracked delivery.

EUROPE AND WORLDWIDE

We are happy to make initial arrangements for worldwide shipments on your behalf. However, please note that the shipping payment is made by you the customer directly with the shippers.
