Description

Antique 1920s Buren pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality 15-jewel stem-winding movement, signed Buren, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and was made for Buren by the Keystone Watch Case Company. The case is in good condition, just a slight hint of unevenness to the hinged case back, but nothing too detrimental at all. The back cover has scratching to the inside.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The dial is in beautiful condition, as is the lens and the unusually shaped hands are a very handsome feature.

The watch comes in an antique presentation box from a Swansea jeweller.
