Description

A smaller proportioned French brass cased striking & repeating carriage clock. An enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. The dial is signed 'Hy Marc, Paris'. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. A lever escapement visible through the oval top glass. A repeater button to the top. A subsidiary alarm dial to the dial base. Circa 1895.
