Mid Victorian Amboyna and Brass Inlaid Card Box

A quality mid Victorian amboyna veneered card box with coromandel banding and brass strung and bound edges c.1875. Slightly domed top with amboyna veneered centre, cartouch to the middle engraved with the word 'Cards'. The edges banded with amboyna, plus strung and bound with brass. Canted corners and matching veneers and inlays to the sides. Brass push button release catch to the front for opening the lid, with the lid opening to reveal a polished rosewood interior with divisions to hold two packs of cards, counters and dice. Presented in immaculate condition along with later cards, counters and dice. Keep up to date via Instagram - sturmansantiques. Measures 8" wide x 5" deep x 2" high.

Through our trusted international shippers we will source the most competitive quote for delivery to your door. All items are wrapped and packed by the specialist shippers.

We are happy to make initial arrangements for worldwide shipments on your behalf. However, please note that the shipping payment is made by you the customer directly with the shippers.
