Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

An Apollino statue of this era is an eighteenth- or nineteenth-century Neoclassical reduced marble copy of the ancient Roman statue type depicting a youthful Apollo leaning against a tree trunk.

These sculptures were carved by hand from solid white marble, such as Carrara, and were frequently mounted onto polished timber or stone plinths.

Authentic pieces exhibit hand-carved tool marks, subtle age patination, anatomical accuracy based on classical proportions, and historical timber or stone bases typical of Italian workshops.

Display the sculpture on a mantelpiece, console table, or dedicated plinth, contrasting the pale stone against dark or textured backgrounds to highlight its architectural form.

Dust regularly with a soft dry brush or microfibre cloth, avoid acidic or abrasive chemical cleaning agents, and keep the stone dry to preserve its surface finish.
