In 1769-70 it was moved to Florence and is now in the Uffizi. Venerated throughout the eighteenth century as an ideal form of the human body it was a highlight of the Grand Tour and a popular item addition to your collection. Presented on a purpose built academic wooden block base. Good substantial example. Old repair and slight loses. Italian, probably Florence.
