A Wonderful Silver & Glass Edwardian Scent Bottle

An unusual Edwardian silver mounted scent bottle of rounded squat form. This is a gorgeous example with a deep ruby coloured body, with wrythen swirls and panels of gold flecking. The hinged silver lid opens to reveal the original peg stopper. The silver lid has floral repoussé decoration to the top and sides and has a small vacant cartouche. A wonderful and unusual collector's piece. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or holes to the lid and no chips or cracks to the glass. The base has the expected wear, commensurate with age and use.
