A set of 6 Victorian period, mahogany dining chairs, circa 1870. This set features attractively figured timbers with curved top rails, with an open back. Overstuffed upholstered seats, covered in a quality woven pale gold stripe fabric. Raised on baluster front legs, with curved rear legs.

These chairs measure approximately 88 cm (34.625'') tall, 50.25 cm (19.75'') wide, and 53.5 cm (21'') deep. The seat height is approximately 47.5 cm (18.75'').
Condition:
Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - These chairs are in a good condition commensurate with their age, and are structurally very sound and sturdy. There are some minor marks and blemishes on the frames. No loose joints. The upholstery is structurally very good. The fabric covers do have a some marks and blemishes. These chairs have been through the workshop and have been sensitively cleaned and waxed and are now very much ready to be used. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
