Large Mid 19th C Gallery Glass

Description

A Large Mid 19th Century Gallery Glass.

The circular frame with fine reed borders surrounding the cushion mould body. The frame meeting a bronze bracket, and thence the long handle, topped with a ball, over the outward sweeping handle, with a concave reed edged collar, before the handle finishes with a cup finial.

The lens clean and good.

Date circa 1850.

Height 17 1/4 inches, 44cm.

Width 9 1/2 inches, 24cm.

Depth 1 inch, 2.5cm.
