Georgian Oak and Elm Tripod Occasional Table

Description

Tripod tables are numerous and most are unremarkable. Occasionally, however, along comes one that sets itself apart and this little table is one of those.

The single piece oak top has a milled edge which slopes inwards and is supported on a beauifully drawn oak baluster column with ring turning to its top and base. Even the elm block to the underside of the top is a joy!

The elm legs, simply shaped, extend beyond the diameter of the top which gives the piece greater stability and appeal. Beauifully proportioned and superbly patinated with great variation and intensity of colour.
