Description

This stunning George V silver silver lidded trailed glass preserve jar was made in London 1910 by the reputed Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company. The plain silver lid with loop finial resting on an elegant trailed glass oval body. The lid with a slot for the spoon. The solid silver spoon by Thomas Bradbury & Sons.

Hallmarks on lid:

G&SCo Ltd for the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company.

Lion Passant.

London Assay mark.

Date letters "p" for 1910.

Spoon:

TB&S for Thomas Bradbury & Sons.

Sheffield Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "M" for 1954.

Dimensions jar:

Height: 9cm / 3.5 inches

Diameter: 7.5cm / 3 inches
