This pretty BELLEEK TEAPOT and matching MILK JUG date from circa 1880.
They both bear the FIRST PERIOD MARK and the handpainted number 18 to the base, alongside the impressed Victorian Registration Mark for 1878.
The pieces are decorated in a THORN PATTERN.
The overall condition is good. There is a sliver off the spout of the Teapot and a tiny fleabite, possibly a burst glaze bubble, to the inner edge of the Teapot rim. Minor wear to gilt.
The JUG just has minor wear to gilt.
There is no restoration.
