Art Nouveau 2.46 Carat Old Cut Diamond Crossover Ring, Circa 1910

Description

An awesome Art Nouveau diamond ring. This most impressive piece features two 1.00 carat (approx.) old European cut diamonds each in an eight-claw platinum collets, flanked by a pair of 0.14 carat (approx.) diamonds which sit at the top of a sweeping, crossover shank. A further six (three each side) diamonds are set in the platinum shoulders.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR.

Cut:? Old European cuts.

Colour:? The two main diamonds are I and K. The two accent diamonds are H and I. The diamonds in the shoulder range from G to H.

Clarity:? The four main diamonds range from VS1 to VS2. The diamonds in the shoulders are SI1.

Carat:? Each of the diamond main diamonds is approximately 1.00 carat. Each of the two accent diamonds is approximately 0.14 carat, with a further approximate 0.18 carat set down the shoulders.

Circa:? 1910.

Size:? M (UK) or 6 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:? Each of the two main diamond is approximately 6.6mm in diameter. When worn, the ring is 13.8mm along the finger and 11.4mm across the finger. Sits 5.1mm from the finger.

Weight:? 3.46 grams.

Metal:? 18k gold and platinum. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
