Early 19th century (possibly earlier) portrait of a lady with a feather in her hat mounted in an original empire frame. The oil on canvas is beautifully painted and has some lovely detail, particularly the lace on the dress, her sash and her face. The painting is mounted in an Empire frame which has some damage.
