Edwardian Pocket Barometer, Compass and Thermometer Set

1900 - 1920
Description

An Edwardian three piece pocket barometer, compass and thermometer combination in the original presentation case c.1910. Comprising of gilt brass pocket compass with mother of pearl dial, locking mechanism for travelling to the side and hanging loop to the top. Matching pocket barometer with silvered dial and reading marker to the bezel, and a small bone scale thermometer with original mercury action thermometer tube. Instruments bear the makers name Chadburns Ltd, Liverpool and are sat in the original velvet and silk lined presentation case. All instruments in excellent original condition and in full working order. Keep up to date via Instagram - sturmansantiques. Barometer and compass each measure 1.25" diameter x 2" high including hanging loop x 0.5" deep.
