Mid Century 0.86 Carat Emerald & Diamond Cluster Ring, Circa 1950

Description

An absolutely wonderful vintage emerald ring. The baguette cut emerald displays a fresh and verdant green, and is rubover set in milgrained platinum within a surround of 20 eight-cut diamonds - also rubover set in milgrained platinum. The face of the ring sits nice and low to the finger, with six (three each side) further diamonds in the shoulders, leading to a slim 18k white gold shank.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR.

Cut:? Baguette cut emerald and eight-cut diamonds.

Colour:? The diamonds range from I to K.

Clarity:? The emerald is slightly included. The diamonds are SI1.

Carat:? The emerald is approximately 0.86 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.56 carat.

Circa:? 1950.

Size:? O 1/2 (UK) or 7 1/4 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:? The emerald is approximately 9 x 5mm. The head of the ring is 12.5 x 9.1mm. Sits 3.5mm from the finger.

Weight:? 2.44 grams.

Metal:? The settings for the diamonds and the emerald are platinum. The rest of the ring is 18k white gold. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
