Description

A delightful pair of novelty silver pepperettes in the form of chicks wearing top hats and bow ties, c.1920s. Marks present but illegible.

Each pepperette has a hinged top hat which opens to reveal the pepperette beneath. The heads detach to enable re-filling. All hinges and lids function as they should. Stamps present to bow ties and rim of neck but illegible. Stored in a later box for A & J Cohen, 16 Temple Parade, London.
