18th Century Louis Xv Giltwood Mirror, C.1750

A stunning 18th century Louis XV giltwood mirror, c.1750.

The crest is adorned with vines and leaves surrounding a central basket filled with flowers, above an original mirror plate surround by a boldly carved foliate border. The original mirror plate is heavily and attractively foxed and now barely reflects, giving that sought after 'portal' like quality.

There is a historic loss and repair to the top left flower to the crest. Overall the whole piece remains in a very good condition indeed.

Due to the nature of this piece, delivery will be via our specialist LAPADA accredited door-to-door courier.

We are able to deliver to most of mainland UK free of charge (excluding the Scottish Highlands), however please do contact us with your postcode should delivery be intended for a particularly rural location (i.e. North Norfolk, West Wales etc).

We aim to deliver your piece within 7-10 working days, however please allow up to 3 weeks following cleared payment for delivery. Collection in person is welcome by prior arrangement.
