The lid opening and the front falling by button release to reveal an original fitted interior. Dark green leather lined stationary and pen tray to the top section, with removable velvet and leather covered blotter to the lid. The lower section with original velvet lined fitted compartment to hold the silver desk top items. The desk top silver pieces comprising of a matching pair of candlesticks, ink well and glass liner along with a wax seal. The box bearing the makers name Austin`s Dublin to the Bramah lock, with the silver items hallmarked Birmingham 1911.
