Good Quality Burr Walnut and Tunbridge Ware Iinlaid Card Table

Description

A beautiful Victorian stretcher based walnut card table. The burr walnut top inlaid with Tunbridge ware panels set within kingwood banding, boxwood line inlay and amboyna cross banded edge. The top lifts and swivels open to reveal the original but used baize interior with burr walnut cross banding, below the top is a mahogany lined storage area. The table is raised on turned walnut dual end supports with turned cross stretcher joining the well carved turned finials and terminating on cabriole legs with brass and porcelain casters. Condition- very good, the baize old but useable. Dimensions:- Height…29’’/ 74cm. Width…36’’/ 91.5cm. Depth…18.25’’/ 46.5cm. Open Depth…36’’/ 91.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. £55.
