This is a decorative French amboyna, ebonised and marquetry inlaid two tier occasional table in good original condition dating from the late 19th century, circa 1870. The table has a pierced brass gallery to the top tier with an oval panel inlaid with leaves and flowers flanked by a trailing border. The marquetry-inlaid frieze has brass finials suspending chains beneath. The lower tier is brass mounted and equally, decoratively marquetry-inlaid with a beautiful floral panel. The table is raised on turned and splayed ebonised legs.
This measures 77 cms high 50cm wide by 36cm deep.
