A superb hand made Indian antique solid sterling silver kashkul bowl. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1900. It has been superbly designed and gilded inside. It is in super condition being free from dings holes splits and repairs, tiny surface rim crack which doesn''t go right through see final photo and I think there may have been small loops in the snakes mouths. It measures approx. 4.5 inches (11cm) wide by 2.25 inches tall and weighs 61 grams. A very interesting piece.
