Victorian Shell Back Occasional Chair

19th century
Description

A very pretty Victorian occasional chair, circa 1880, with shell shaped back and serpentine front sprung seat with carved and shaped front rail and raised on foliate carved mahgany support terminating in original brass castors.

In good structural condition, currently upholstered in gold damask which although clean would benefit from being replaced as the seat fabric is a little loose. I can arrange upholstery and supply fabric if required - please contact me for details.
