The sides of the base section with complementing embossed flowing flower decoration, the front with a mask forming the lock escutcheon. The hinged lid with locking hinges opening to reveal a gilt lined interior; working lock and key. Bears the maker mark for Hanau silver maker Neresheimer and the marker for silversmiths and importers of Hanau silver ware Berthold Muller along with clear hallmarks to all sections.
