Large Plaster Composition of a Classical Maiden with Plinth, C.1900

A large plaster composition of a classical maiden holding a wreath with later olive-painted wooden plinth, circa. late 19th/early 20th century.

The figure is crisply cast and of good proportions at just under four foot in height. There is damage to the left 'wreath-holding' arm; this is not visible when the figure is viewed from the front (as concealed by the wreath) and the arm remains stable with no movement.

The later plinth has some blossoming and scuffs/marks throughout but displays well.

The purchased item may be returned, in its original condition, within 14 days from receipt. Return carriage costs are the responsibility of the buyer. For larger pieces requiring a specialist courier service, we will arrange your return for you with the cost being deducted from the refund (this cost will never exceed the original charge paid).

We ask that a trackable signature method of shipping is used for the return of smaller items as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
