Oblong form with serpentine front and sides, the hinged lid with small embossed boarder to the edge. Sat on small decorative wire work legs set to the corners. The lid opening to reveal an original blue velvet lined interior and gilded lid interior. Bears the maker mark for Birmingham silversmiths Henry Matthews, along with clear hallmarks to all sections.
