An unusual Georgian treen campaign shaving box, c.1820

The box is of barrel form with campaign style brasses and a pewter lining stamped for Joseph Austen & Sons, Cork, Ireland. The box retains its original removable leather and brass fitted interior.

There is some wear commensurate with age but overall the whole remains in a very good condition.
