A very rare Indian solid silver tea cup and saucer. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1920-1940. It has been superbly designed and is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, the cup has engraved initials. The cup measures approx. 3 inches (7.6cm) across excluding the handle by almost 2 inches (4.9cm) to the rim tall and the saucer 5.5 inches (14cm) across and combined weighs 166 grams. A beautifully made piece.
