Owl & Moon Silver Plated Toast Rack By Pridham & Sons, Torquay, C.1920

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: Harrington Antiques

An absolutely charming and highly unusual art deco period silver plated toast rack in the form of an owl and moons.

The owl finial functions as a handle and is perched upon the central crescent moon. Six crescent moons divide the rack and sit upon a large crescent moon with engraved facial details. The whole is raised upon three bun feet. Stamped ''Pridham & Sons, Torquay'' with associated serial and registration numbers to the base.

There is a small amount of wear commensurate with age but generally the piece remains in a very good condition throughout.

A really lovely thing.
