Description

A striking antique ruby and diamond ring. The ruby in the centre - certified as natural and unheated - displays a bright pink-ish red. The stone is claw set within a surround of fourteen exceptionally white eight-cut diamond in a coronet cluster setting, leading to a slender 18k yellow gold shank with ridge details at the shoulders.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the ruby shows no evidence of heating.

Cut:? Cushion cut ruby and eight-cut diamonds.

Colour:? The diamonds are F to G.

Clarity:? The ruby is eye-clean. The diamonds are SI1 to SI2; all are clean to the naked eye.

Carat:? The ruby is 2.65 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.56 carat.
