Brief Description:

This is a beautiful quality Signed Original 20th-century Vintage Oil on Canvas Landscape Painting depicting an extensive Lake scene.

The magnificently executed painting is mounted within the original large silvered studio frame, and it is signed in the lower left corner 'Hein Schlichting'.

Dating to the late 1950s/early 1960s, the wonderfully detailed image portrays a tranquil summer's day with people in sailing vessels enjoying the vast lake.

The banks of the lake are surrounded by rolling hills, together with an ancient building and tall, mature trees.

It is a very impressive painting that is offered for sale in fine original ready-to-hang condition.
