Georgian Four Sided Collectors Cabinet

A superb George III period country house four sided collectors cabinet with original panels of faux leather bound books to the interior c.1820. Figured book matched top with moulded edge sat over the four sided cabinet. Each side with double doors, fine glazing bars to each forming four glazed windows with original glass. Four surfaces to each side, two of the sides with faux leather bound books to the sides to mask the inset of the opposite sides shelves. Sat on a moulded plinth with original bracket feet below. An unusual bespoke Georgian country house piece for displaying silver of Grand Tour items presented in superb original condition with a rich colour and original patina. Measures 21" wide x 21" deep x 36" high.
