Antique Bidjar Carpet Runner

1920 - 1940
Description

This is a beautiful antique Bidjar carpet dating from around 1930. The carpet is handwoven in soft lustrous wool and whilst a thick heavy carpet, it is also has a beautifully soft handle which helps it lay well. The carpet has a handsome design with three angular lozenges and geometric motifs in shades of deep indigo, coral and mid blue.

It is in excellent condition throughout and looks very well on the floor. A carpet which is both beautiful and practical.

The carpet is a useful size measuring 256 cms by 116 cms.
