A fine large bronzed full length silhouette of a gentleman and horse by Henry Albert Frith (1819-1871), signed and dated ''1847'' to the lower left.The gentleman wearing riding boots, jacket and top hat is holding a whip and saddle and leading his horse by the reins with trees to the distance. The work is finely done with delicate gilt, white and blue highlights animating the subjects.There is some age tone to the paper in places but generally the work remains in a very good condition overall.
