Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The Wyvern twist columns sitting within an arcaded collar and thence an outward tapering reeded base, repeated to the underside of the arch and finished again with a reeded and beaded finial. The arched legs with chamfered edges, sweeping to a rounded toe. The tool rests and rear leg likewise chamfered, with the rear leg finished with a reed and beaded finial, and reeded paterae to each side.
The whole with a very good patination.
