The original white enamelled glass dial bearing the maker's name, sat over an aneroid movement with a cast brass bezel surround and inset thick bevelled edge glass and centre reading marker. Presented in excellent condition with a deep polish, fully serviced and working. Alexander Dobbie of Clyde Place, Glasgow is listed as a Chronometer and nautical barometer maker.
