Lincoln Restorations has dated this Antique Edwardian Wooden Inkstand to the Edwardian era.
A stunning period desktop companion.
This ornate and elegant Inkstand features its original idyllic lightly faded Walnut colour, complete with contrasting ebonised edges and accents. The inkwell stand features the most intricately carved panels to the drawer front back and sides complete with raised pediment and top finials.

The rear up-stand is supported by the most beautifully cast floral polished brass brackets which flank either side of its unusual fretwork polished brass inkwell mounts. This double inkwell stand comes complete with its lovely square glass inkwells which have polished brass lids and are original to the stand. Removing the inkwells shows the word "PATENT" stamped to the centre of the inkwell mounts. This desk tidy features its front ebonised pencil grooves and a lower finely constructed stationary drawer.

We have sympathetically restored this item maintaining original patina and character by just carefully waxing this item to enhance and preserve the finish whilst giving it a natural sheen and highly polishing the brassware.

Please note this item is in very good condition for its age but will have the odd blemish here and there, as expected with an item of this age. However, we feel that these points are which adds to the charm of the item with it being an antique.
