Description

An exceptionally lovely antique sapphire and diamond ring. The sapphire in the centre is a rich and hypnotic royal blue, and is flanked on either side by a pair of 0.20 carat (approx.) old mine cut diamonds which sit within split shoulders. On a double fluted shank and crafted in 18k yellow gold, this is a truly special ring.

Accompanied by a diamond grading report from IGR.

Cut:? Oval shaped sapphire and old mine cut diamonds.

Colour:? The sapphire is royal blue. The diamonds are I to J.

Clarity:? The sapphire is loupe clean. The diamonds are SI1 and SI2. Both are clean to the naked eye.

Carat:? The sapphire is approximately 1.54 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.40 carat.

Circa:? 1890.

Size:? L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:? The sapphire is approximately 8.5 x 6.6mm. From the outer edge of one diamond to the other is approximately 12.4mm. The ring is 10mm at its widest point and sits 3.9mm from the finger.

Weight:? 3.20 grams.
