Description

A good Victorian brass helmet coal bucket made by the firm of Henry Loveridge of Wolverhampton, metalworkers, c1880. The coal bucket has some pleasing decorative detail - the helmet cover is adorned with a fan shape and a wide foliage and floral band. The hinge of the handle has elaborate daisy shape screws. Underneath the bucket is stamped with the Henry Loveridge mark. In excellent condition and in good working order.
