Georgian Peat Bucket

Description

A Georgian mahogany coopered peat bucket with brass banding, inner brass liner with brass handle.

Probably Irish.

It has a wonderful patina and in very good condition with no losses or cracks.

The liner has some dents but is complete, having been used for purpose at some stage.

Overall sturdy and beautiful. Circa 1770.
